The aim of the Best ACE project was to ensure continued development of biogas production and to bridge the transition in market development from compressed biogas (CBG) to liquefied biogas (LBG). Within the project, meetings were held with stakeholders in the biogas sector, as well as study visits to Västerås, Denmark, Estonia, and Vaasa, Finland. The purpose was to increase understanding among biogas producers, showcase good examples, and analyze the market segments related to long-distance transport, shipping, the gas grid, and power-to-x (P2X) solutions.
The project has produced both a report on the current situation and guidance for the mentioned markets in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia.
