Förnybart 2030

For increased production and use of renewable fuels in Central Northern Sweden

Förnybart 2030 is working towards the goal that the counties of Jämtland and Västernorrland will be fossil fuel free by the year 2030.

We aim to improve the conditions for businesses and public organizations in Central Norrland. Our focus is on accelerating the transition to sustainable fuels, primarily for heavy road traffic and construction machinery, and to some extent for aviation and maritime transport.

Examples of Activities

  • Webinars
  • Regional plans for charging and refueling stations for sustainable fuels
  • Standards to ensure that charging and refueling infrastructure is accessible to all
  • Networks, such as the Hydrogen Working Group and the Electricity in Transport Working Group
  • Emission-free and renewable public procurement
  • Increased gender equality and inclusion in the transport sector

Thank You for Participating in The Roadshow Winter Edition Umeå/Örnsköldsvik/Sundsvall!
January 27/28/29 turned out to be successful dates this year! A caravan of heavy electric and biogas vehicles arrived at Nolia in Umeå, Hägglunds Arena in Örnsköldsvik, and Scandic Nord in Sundsvall. These were action-packed days focused on trucks powered by biogas and electricity, with plenty of hands-on opportunities and test drives. Thanks to all who participated and contributed—we’re already forging hot irons for next year’s edition, so stay tuned!
