Biogas Norr is the network that BioFuel Region has been running since 2010. Its ambition is to strengthen biogas in northern Sweden. The network includes actors from municipalities, universities, and industry, all with a passionate interest in biogas and vehicle gas. Our mission is to support and coordinate initiatives to increase the production and market for biogas in northern Sweden. We maintain contact with networks across the rest of Sweden, organize annual network meetings, and spread knowledge about biogas. Based on this, we launch new projects that match members’ needs with project funding.
Trädbränslenätverket in northern Sweden brings together stakeholders working with by-products from the forest industry. Here, buyers, sellers, and other actors meet to share knowledge, experiences, and create new collaborations.
The purpose is to strengthen the market for wood fuels through knowledge exchange, strategic planning, and jointly finding solutions to challenges.
The network arranges regular meetings and is run by BioFuel Region, North Sweden Cleantech, and Piteå Science Park.
Within the project Förnybart 2030, a network for hydrogen development in the region is being coordinated. Here we bring together companies, municipalities, and organizations that want to explore the opportunities with hydrogen – from production and industrial symbiosis to refueling stations, heavy transport, and construction machinery.
The purpose of the network is to create a meeting place for knowledge, ideas, and co-creation. By sharing experiences and addressing issues together, we can accelerate the development of hydrogen as part of the fossil-free transition. The network is primarily aimed at stakeholders in Jämtland/Härjedalen and Västernorrland, but we also welcome participants from other parts of the country.
