We are a member-owned organization that connects municipalities, businesses, and research. Through joint efforts, we bring ideas to life, strengthen the bioeconomy, and accelerate the transition in northern Sweden.

Join the transition  

We run projects to create solutions that benefit both the region and the climate. Right now, we are working on developing biogas production in the north, supporting companies in finding new business opportunities within the bioeconomy, and promoting the use of sustainable fuels.

Whether it’s about business challenges, local raw material supply for industry, or better conditions for hydrogen and electric power, the goal is always the same: to go from challenge to transition – together.

          "At BioFuel Region, we work to accelerate the pace of the transition. We are a small, dedicated organization with a large network and extensive experience in running projects within the bioeconomy and sustainable transport.
